Your guides

Basia Goodwin, MA (King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts), is an artist and educator specialising in the use of geometry within traditional arts, crafts, and philosophy. Bertrand Gamrowski, PhD, specialises in the use of geometry in Christian architecture. For the past 12 years, Basia and Bertrand have made their home along the Camino, where they have established their artist's studio and retreat center. Throughout the year they welcome pilgrims, host retreats, guide Caminos and teach experiential and contemplative practices alongside sacred arts. Currently, they are writing The Sacred Art of Pilgrimage, a book inspired by years of research.

The challenges of COVID inspired many to seek connection online, opening new opportunities for community, learning and connection. We are grateful to offer pilgrims worldwide meaningful ways to engage in pilgrimage, creativity, and contemplation.

While virtual offerings are valuable, they cannot replace the richness of being fully present in person, where the depth of the material can only be fully received through direct, embodied engagement.
